We've shipped ourselves From the early days Eclipse has experienced an increasing demand to provide added value products to its forwarding services. We get to know our clients businesses very well and it’s a simple progression to cover logistics needs. Believing that this aspect of the business will continue to grow we have made a commitment by buying brand new premises and seized the opportunity to have a custom made facility. The commodities we handle are wide ranging. Electronics, clothing, sports goods, production materials, textiles, computer peripherals, amongst others, all have different handling needs. Our staff receives product training from our clients and we ensure the facilities match the handling needs of the cargo. This can involve lifting capacities of the fork lift truck, specialised racking for hanging garments, custom written software for location, pick and pack and documentation for computerware. We are already transporting a huge amount of retail ready products from the Far East and China in particular. Our new facility will enable us to offer the complete logistics package from factory to shop to more clients and will allow those clients the time to concentrate on developing their business.
